The Washington Hatchets grabbed a big win last night defeating Heritage Hills at the Hatchet House 62-54. Brycen Neidigh set a new school record with eight 3-pointers and finished with 26 points to lead Washington. The Hatchets go to 9-9 and face Boonville at home tomorrow.  

Barr Reeve also got a big win at home as they topped Jasper 43-40 in Montgomery.

Washington Catholic fell at the Bird Cage to Loogootee 83-17.

Castle topped Vincennes Lincoln 65-41.

North Knox was over Shoals 44-41.

South Knox defeated Rivet 66-16.

Southridge was over Princeton 56-52 .

Wisconsin closed on an 8-0 run, and the Badgers beat Indiana 74-69 Tuesday night at Assembly Hall. Johnny Davis led the 15th-ranked Badgers with 30 points and 12 rebounds, including the final 13 for Wisconsin. IU forward Trayce Jackson-Davis had 30 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Indiana has lost four in a row to fall to 16-9. The Hoosiers closed the game 1-for-10 from the field after leading by four in the final minutes. The Badgers improved to 20-5 on the season. The Hoosiers have six days to prepare for a Monday night showdown at Ohio State.

Fifth-ranked Purdue will try to keep pace in the Big Ten standings Wednesday night at Northwestern. The Boilermakers beat the Wildcats by 20 points at home last month. Northwestern has won three out of four, but is coming off a loss at Illinois. Purdue escaped with a home win over Maryland Sunday. The Boilers are favored by 5.5 points, with the game getting underway at 9 p.m. Eastern. Notre Dame looks to stay atop the ACC when the Fighting Irish face Boston College Wednesday night in South Bend. Notre Dame is 18-7 overall and 11-3 in conference play, while the Eagles are 9-14 on the season. The Irish have won four in a row, while B.C. has lost three straight. Notre Dame is favored by 10.5 points for tonight’s 7:00 pm tip off.

Notre Dame football plans to hire Cincinnati Bengals linebackers coach Al Golden as the program’s new defensive coordinator, according to multiple media reports. Golden has ten years of college head coaching experience with stints at the University of Miami and at Temple. The 52-year-old spent the past six years as an defensive assistant in the NFL, first with Detroit and most recently in Cincinnati the past two seasons. Golden steps into the defensive coordinator role left vacant by new Fighting Irish head coach Marcus Freeman, who was promoted when Brian Kelly left for LSU.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a season-high 50 points, and the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Indiana Pacers 128-119 Tuesday night in Milwaukee. The defending Finals MVP returned to play after missing Monday night’s loss with ankle soreness, and made 17-of-21 field goals. The Pacers have lost seven straight overall. Milwaukee has dominated the series with Indiana, with eight straight wins and 12 out of 13 over the Blue and Gold. Buddy Hield made 8-of-12 3-pointers, and led Indiana with 36 points. Tyrese Haliburton had 17 points and eight assists for the Pacers. The Blue and Gold had just 10 active players due to a variety of injuries. The loss marked the first night of a back-to-back for the Pacers. Indiana plays its last game before the All-Star Break today at home against the Washington Wizards.
