The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced lane restrictions for State Road 168 at I-69 near Mackey for bridge repairs.
Beginning on or around Thursday, February 3, contractors will close the shoulders on the SR 168 bridge spanning I-69.
The closure will also require intermittent lane closures.
During the operation workers will be making repairs to the MSE wall and performing erosion control measures as general maintenance to the bridge and its components.
Work is expected to last for about a month depending upon weather conditions.
During the operation, lane closures will be controlled by flaggers and a work zone speed limit will be in place.
Work is only expected to take place during daytime hours.
INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
