COVID Death Toll Now Over 20,000

More than 20,000 people have died from coronavirus according to the Indiana Department of Health.
The number of people, however, in hospitals across the state with the virus has gone down in the last four days with a little more than 3,100 in hospitals now.
That’s the lowest since January 2.
Lake County was one of Indiana’s first counties to get hit by the omicron variant.
COVID infections there have dropped by two-thirds since New Year’s Day.
