
Bill Turner has announced that he is retiring as teacher of the Daviess County CEO Program.
The Daviess County CEO Class teaches students areas of business through hands on work that goes beyond the classroom.
According to the Washington Times Herald, Turner retired from full time teaching at Washington High School 4 years ago, but since then has continued to mentor students in the CEO Class.
Turner said the reason for his retirement was to spend more time with family also citing it may be time for someone younger to take over the role.
His retirement will take effect in the spring.
