The Indianapolis Colts still have a shot at the AFC South title, after the Tennessee Titans fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday. With three games to play, the Colts are 8-6, while the Titans are 9-5. Since Tennessee swept the Colts and holds the tiebreaker, Indy must finish a game ahead of the Titans. Tennessee takes on San Francisco Thursday, while the Colts take on the Arizona Cardinals Christmas night. As it stands, Indianapolis is currently the fifth seed in the AFC playoff picture, and would face the Cincinnati Bengals in the Wild Card Round. Colts coach Frank Reich said Sunday that safety Andrew Sendejo is in the NFL’s concussion protocol after getting injured late in the win over the Patriots. Reich said the team will stick with kicker Michael Badgley, even after he missed a field goal and had another missed field goal negated by a New England penalty.

Purdue will take on Incarnate Word Monday night in a non-conference tuneup. The third-ranked Boilermakers are 10-1 after a 29-point beatdown of Butler Saturday in Indianapolis. Incarnate Word is 2-9, and the Cardinals are coached by former Purdue guard Carson Cunningham, while former Boilers guard Ryne Smith is an assistant coach. The Boilers are favored by 38 points for Monday’s 7 p.m. Eastern start at Mackey Arena. Notre Dame hosts Western Michigan Monday night in South Bend. The Fighting Irish fell to 4-5 with an eight-point loss to Indiana Saturday. Notre Dame is 3-0 at home, and is favored by 20.5 points over Western Michigan. The Fighting Irish and Broncos tip off at 8 p.m. Eastern.
