A man is facing child neglect and criminal recklessness charges after bringing his son to a drug deal.
Police dispatch in Vanderburgh County got a call around 2 o’clock Saturday morning, but the caller hung up.
Police arrived at the area where the call was made and found Joshua Sartore at the end of a driveway with his son.
Sartore apparently told police he tried to buy some narcotics, but someone pointed a gun at him.
That’s when he says he chased the person with a knife.
That person is the one Sartore says called police.
Sartore was arrested and his son was released to his mother.
