The Daviess County Health Department released the latest local COVID-19 numbers on Friday.
According to the department, 107 new cases of the virus have been confirmed since last Friday, December 10th.
Of those cases, 83 individuals were unvaccinated with 7 of those being children under the age of 5. The other 24 individuals were fully vaccinated.
Two additional deaths have also been reported bringing the death toll for Daviess County to 121 since the start of the pandemic.
Most of the state is in either Red or Orange Status.
Daviess County is currently in the Orange and is showing a 7-day positivity rate of 12%.
Martin, Knox, Greene, and Dubois Counties are also in the Orange.
Pike and Gibson have shifted back into the Red.
