There is still time to help your neighbors in Kentucky. Several community organizations and businesses have organized drives to help those affected by last weekend’s tornadoes.
Providence Mennonite Church is collecting nonperishable food items and toiletries for the victims of the tornadoes. They are working on filling up a semi-trailer at the church. The semi-trailer will be leaving on Monday, so be sure to bring out items as soon as possible and help fill the trailer.
RTC Communications is also purchasing and collecting supplies for those affected. The office is open from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm for anyone in the area to drop off donations. To see a full list of requested supplies, visit the RTC Communications Facebook Page.
Washington Catholic Schools are collecting toiletry items. Donations will be accepted in both school offices today.
Midwest Realty also has a trailer set up to take supplies. They are asking for clothing, nonperishable food items, and blankets. You can drop off your items today from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
