According to the Odon Journal, the Elnora Town Council has voted to increase wastewater and water rates.
Council President Jesse Emmons said basic costs of the two utilities would increase 6% in 2022 followed by a 2% increase in 2023 and another 2% increase in 2024.
Customers can expect to see a roughly $2.00 increase on their monthly bill.
The board also approved their tapping fees for household connections.
The fee was raised from $300 to $1200 for a 5/8 or 3/4-inch meter.
The charge for a 2-inch meter was bumped to $1,400.
