A new program is available for those who would like to know more about running for office.
The Perdue Extension Office has partnered with the County Clerk’s Office to provide this informational meeting.

There will be panel discussions with both political parties who have ran or held offices previously.
Organizers will cover campaign ethics and the process for running for office.
Candidate Filing starts January 5th and will run through February 4th at 12:00 pm.
Daviess County Clerk Janice Williams says there will be several offices open in Daviess County…
The public meeting will be held tonight from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm at the Daviess County Museum.
There will be light refreshments and plenty of information about running for office.
