
The Indiana Department of Health has announced that their supplies of rapid tests for COVID-19 test sites are extremely limited.
In light of this information, the Daviess County Health Department will now begin PCR laboratory testing.
Starting today, the Daviess County Health Department will no longer be providing rapid COVID tests until further notice.
The department says appointments and pre-registration is now required and that drive-up testing will not be available without an appointment.

Appointments can also be made by calling 211.
The laboratory that the state uses for test processing has committed to 24-hour results turn-around time, upon receipt.
When the supplies of rapid tests are restored, the Daviess County Health Department says they will notify the public.
