Many local organizations and businesses are rallying to help those affected by the aftermath of weekend tornadoes in Kentucky.
Providence Mennonite Church says they are teaming up with Blessings of Hope to help provide aid and relief for those affected. They are asking for donations of bottled water, canned goods, clothing, and shoes. There will be a semi-trailer located at the back of the church hall for you to place your items.
RTC Communications is also purchasing and collecting supplies for those affected. RTC is now serving as an official drop-off location in Daviess County and surrounding areas. They say all donations will be greatly appreciated. The office is open from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm for anyone in the area to drop off donations. Washington Catholic Schools are collecting toiletry items such as tooth paste, dental floss, shampoo, razors, baby wipes, toilet paper etc. Donations will be accepted in both school offices all week.
