Daviess County will be saluting all veterans this Sunday, November 7th in honor of the upcoming Veteran’s Day.
A program will be held at the Daviess County Museum on Main Street in Washington at 2:00 pm. The keynote speaker will be Jim Osborne from the Indiana Military Museum.
The parade will follow the event. Linda Cornelius says there will be cash prizes awarded…
The box float parade begins at 4:00 pm.
The parade will start at the Washington Carnegie Public Library and head east up Main Street. The parade will then travel to the Washington High School.
All veterans are invited to come out to this event.
Veteran’s are also invited out to the Veteran’s Day Ceremony on Thursday, November 11th, at the steps of the Daviess Courthouse.
