The Fire Department was dispatched to the Washington High School earlier this morning.
School officials say a belt in the air handler caused some smoke in the Washington High School Library.
The belt was replaced and exhaust fans are currently being used to clear the smoke out quickly.
The library will remain closed until the smoke can be cleared.
