Washington’s Eastside Park will host a special event remembering loved ones lost to suicide or substance abuse beginning at 5 p.m. today. The event is sponsored by Mental Health America of Daviess and Martin Counties. One of the event co-ordinators, Chris Clark had this say:
The event will also face painting, sidewalk chalk, beginning at 5 p.m. and at 7:45 glow sticks will be distributed for the Memory Walk scheduled for 8 p.m.. There will also be a drawing for gift certificates from area pizza parlors. T-shirts will also be available for purchase.
