It will be a busy week for tourism throughout Daviess County and the surrounding area.
The White River Valley Antique Show gets underway tomorrow. This year’s show will run from Thursday September 9th – Sunday, September 12th. All are invited to come out and experience what life was like in the past with antiques, displays, and demonstrations. It’s all happening at the Daviess County Fair Grounds in Elnora.
The 2021 Turkey Trot also kicks off tomorrow and will feature several events throughout the four big days. This year’s show will feature a demolition derby, beer garden, mud volleyball, and many other fun events. Country Star Jodee Messina will take the stage this Friday night at 8:00 pm. Bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs will hit the stage Saturday also at 8:00 pm. The Turkey Trot will be held at the Montgomery Ruritan Park and also runs this Thursday through Sunday,
