Two students awarded ISA Scholarships

The Indiana Sheriffs’ Association has awarded college scholarships to two local students totaling $750.

They were awarded to Hanna Dillard, a 2021 graduate of Barr-Reeve High School and Emma Williams a 2021 graduate of Washington High School.

Ms. Dillard will be attending Vincennes University, studying Law Enforcement and Ms. Williams will be attending the University of Evansville and studying Criminology.

The Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship Fund was established to provide college scholarships to qualified students who are pursuing an education and career in the law enforcement field.

To qualify for one of these scholarships, the applicant must be an Indiana resident, be a current member of the association, or a dependent of a current member.

They must also attend an Indiana college or university, major in a law enforcement field, and enroll as a full-time student (12 hours).
