The Vincennes Police Department swore in four new School Resource Officers last week.
The new officers will serve throughout the Vincennes Community School Corporation.
Last Monday, Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum swore in B.J. Helderman, Jack Boger, Bob Dunham, and Randy Rinehart.
All four officers are previously retired from the Vincennes Police Department.
The City of Vincennes also congratulated Rinehart, Dunham, and Officer Julian Craycraft on their completion of their School Resource Officer class in Carmel.
Completing the course makes them nationally certified School Resource Officers.
