Two were arrested on Saturday after they were caught speeding on Highway 41.
Around 5:45 pm Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a Red 2020 Chevy Camaro for traveling 104-mph in a 60-mph zone.
Deputies identified the driver as 24-year-old Paige Devience of Chicago, Illinois.
Officers say they detected the odor of burnt Marijuana and began a roadside drug investigation.
Devience was later taken into custody and charged with Reckless Driving, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
She has since posted an $1100 bond.
A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 22-year-old Tydarius Washington of Orlando, Florida was also taken into custody and charged with Possession of Marijuana.
