Fire crews responded to a fire at a Washington residence on Thursday.
The fire was reported a little before 3:00 pm at a house on South State Road 57.
Officials say arriving crews reported a fully engulfed garage fire with nearby exposures.
While the garage was a total loss, crews were able to quickly control the fire and limit damage to the residence.
Several agencies were on scene including the WTFD, Veale Township Volunteer Fire Department, Daviess County Sheriff, Daviess Community Hospital EMS, Daviess County, Indiana: Emergency Management Agency and Washington Municipal Utilities line crews.
No injuries were reported and the cause remains under investigation.
