Washington’s City Council had a full agenda for Monday night’s meeting.
The Council first approved of a letter from the Daviess County Economic Development Corporation awarding COVID-Small Business Relief Grant funds to four local businesses.
Washington Mayor David Rhoads said there is between $80,000 and $85,000 remaining in the grant funds awarded through the State of Indiana and the Federal CARES Act.
Daviess County EDC Director Bryant Niehoff told the Council that the deadline for local businesses to apply is July 30th.
