There is chance of showers tonight with thunderstorms also possible after 3am.
Saturday and Sunday will see highs above 90 degrees with a chance for some rain in the mix.
Officials remind the public to be aware of heat exhaustion.
Heat exhaustion symptoms may include heavy sweating, a rapid pulse, weakness, dizziness or muscle cramps.
Mayo Clinic says if you start to experience heat exhaustion, you should rest in a cool place, drink cool fluids, and stick to water or sports drinks.
They also say it’s important to stay hydrated and use sun screen with an SPF of at least 30.
