INDOT is reminding residents to avoid driving past barricades on the road.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department received a report yesterday from INDOT that stated motorists were driving around barricades in Plainville.
They also reported that semis were taking local routes and thus exceeding load limits.
There are currently barricades on HWY 67 north of Bicknell.
INDOT urges drivers to avoid the area and to not drive around the barricades.
Semis should also seek an alternate route and avoid using local routes on county roads.
