The hot, muggy, summer-like weather will continue throughout the state today and through the weekend.
The entire state will see high temperatures today in the 80s, and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management has issued an Air Quality Action Day for some areas in the northern part of the state.
That means children, the elderly and anyone with heart or lung conditions should reduce or avoid long periods of time outside.
The IDEM also encourages everyone to drive less and conserve energy in your home.
