The Washington Police Department is welcoming a new officer.
The Washington Police Department said in a Facebook post they would like to welcome their newest Officer, 25-year-old Koty Hatton.
Officer Hatton was sworn in yesterday by Mayor David Rhoads and will be returning to Washington from Tennessee to serve the community.
Officer Hatton is a Washington native who has served in the Tennessee National Guard as a Military Police Officer and is a graduate from Johnson University.
