A Washington man has been arrested for trespassing at a business in Oakland City.
On Sunday, around 3:00 p.m., Gibson County Central Dispatch received several calls from businesses and citizens about a man acting erratic.
A Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputy identified the male earlier in the day as 43-year-old Marty Fowler of Washington.
Upon the requests of representatives from the Dollar General Store, Pro Rehab, and Denny’s, Mr. Fowler was warned if he returned he would be arrested for trespassing.
When officers arrived in the area they found Mr. Fowler at Pro Rehab refusing to leave.
He was then taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail.
Fowler was charged with Criminal Trespass and Resisting Law Enforcement.
He remains in custody on a $650 bond.
