A woman from Loogootee faces charges of child neglect.
Police say she left her children in the trunk of her car while taking a trip to South Carolina.
Indiana State Police say back in March, they got a report of possible child neglect.
While investigating, they learned that 32-year-old Sierra Hudson had driven to South Carolina for spring break.
On her way down there, she put her 7-year-old daughter in the trunk, and didn’t let her out until they got to Tennessee.
On the way back from South Carolina, her 12-year-old son was put in the trunk for the entire drive home — more than 11 hours — to southern Indiana.
Police did a welfare check and arrested Hudson.
When she was taken to the Martin County Jail, officers found a glass pipe with meth in Hudson’s pocket.
