The Washington Hatchet Baseball team blanked Bloomfield on the road last night 9 to nothing.  All nine Hatchet runs came in the 7th inning.  The Hatchets are back home tonight as they host South Spencer.  Live coverage starts at 6:15pm on Memories 107.9fm. 

Barr Reeve cruised to a big win over Wood Memorial 21 to 5.  The Vikings will take on Mitchell Wednesday at home.  Catch live coverage starting at 5pm on the General 95.9 / 101.3fm.

Barr Reeve Softball took a tough loss against Bedford last night 7 to 1.  Hannah Graber had two hits to lead the Viking offense, while Karlye Graber went the distance striking out six. 

Congratulations to Hagen Knepp who has been selected to the Indiana All-Stars Junior All-Star team.  The Junior All Stars take on the Indiana All-Stars on June 9th at Brownsburg! 

Tyler Naquin drove in four runs and the Cincinnati Reds dominated the Pittsburgh Pirates 14-1 Monday night at PNC Park. Eugenio (ay-you-HAY-nee-oh) Suarez hit a solo home run in the second inning to give the Reds a 1-0 lead. Former Indianapolis Indian Jacob Stallings tied the game with a solo shot in the bottom of the frame. The Reds pulled away with six runs in the fourth, including a two-run double from Brownsburg, Indiana native Tucker Barnhart. Naquin connected on a three-run homer in the seventh to make it 11-1, and the Reds evened their record at 16-16. Pittsburgh has dropped nine of 11 to fall to 14-20. Tyler Mahle earned the win after pitching five and a third innings, while Mitch Keller was saddled with the loss after allowing seven runs. 

The Indiana Pacers swept the season series over the Cleveland Cavaliers with a 111-102 victory in Cleveland. 

The Indianapolis Colts are signing left tackle Eric Fisher to a one-year deal worth 9.4 million dollars, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Fisher was released by the Kansas City Chiefs in March after tearing his Achilles tendon in January. The 2013 number one overall pick is a two-time Pro Bowler, and spent the first eight seasons of his career with the Chiefs. The Colts hope Fisher is ready to play by September,
