Vincennes Fire crews responded to a house fire on Wednesday.
A call went out a little before 6:00 PM last night regarding a structure fire at 1420 College Ave in Vincennes.
Initial reports were that all occupants were out of the building.
When crews arrived on scene, a search was completed, which confirmed the report.
Firefighters battled the flames for about 22 minutes before it was extinguished.
Fire units remained on scene approximately another hour to complete salvage and overhaul operations.
One occupant was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by Knox County EMS.
The victim signed a signature of refusal for transport. In total, 6 occupants were displaced.
No injuries were reported from responders.
The origin and cause is currently under investigation by State Fire Marshals.
Damage is estimated at approximately $65,000.
