A murder trial has been rescheduled for a Washington man.

According to the Petersburg Press Dispatch, Edward A. Fox is scheduled for a four-week trial beginning at 9 AM on Monday July 26th, in the Pike County Circuit Court.

It was back on July 19th, 2020  that Edward Fox called police in Pike County and asked them to check on his wife.

He said he hadn’t seen her in a couple of days and was worried about her.

When they got to her house to check on her they found her dead at the bottom of the stairs with a broken neck.

They later determined the two were going through a divorce and that he had pushed her down the stairs and left her there for two days.

It was only after that he called the cops to go check on her.

He was arrested in Jasper in October of 2020.
