A Daviess County Sheriff’s Department deputy was involved in an accident early Friday morning.
According to Indiana State Police, Deputy Troy Fuhs was hit by a vehicle occupied by several intoxicated individuals.
Fuhs was hit by the vehicle while investigating a report of a drunk driver in the area.
Some of the individuals fled the scene.
No names or other details have been released.
Deputy Troy Fuhs was transported to the hospital, treated for injuries, and released. The investigation is on-going.
