Vincennes City Police and Fire Crews, alongside Vincennes University Police, responded to a call on 2nd Street yesterday morning.
A man was seen shirtless standing on top of Vincennes University’s Shake Library.
The City Fire Department used their ladder truck and sent responders up to secure the man and bring him down.
Second Street was closed to traffic while crews dealt with the incident.
Officials say the library has been vandalized.
The name of the man taken into custody has not been released.
The investigation is on going.
