The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department is warning residents of another scam.
Officials say they have been receiving phone calls regarding a scam involving jury duty or court appointments.
The scammer claims to be a LT Reeves from the Daviess County Sheriff Dept.
The scammer then tells them that they have missed Jury Duty or Court Appointments.
The Sheriff Office does not call anyone about these matters.
If you receive a phone call of this nature, the Sheriff’s Department said it’s best to just hang up.
