
Washington Police arrested a Huntingburg man on Friday for Auto Theft. On January 27, the Washington Police Department received a report that a Humvee had been stolen from the Washington National Guard Armory. The Humvee was located later that day in Pike County by a Deputy with the Pike County Sheriff’s Office. The Humvee was then transported to Washington for processing. As a result of the investigation, a felony arrest warrant for Auto Theft was issued for 38-year-old Jeremy Hardy of Huntingburg. Washington Police then forwarded the collected information to agencies in Dubois County in regards to an unsolved vehicle theft. Hardy was transported to the Daviess County Security Center on Friday.
