An Evansville public housing employee is accused of making meth. Officers responded to the 200 block of Baker Avenue just before 2 p.m. Friday. Once there, officers found several items used to make meth and six one-pot meth labs. Police were able to trace the operation back to 59-year-old Mark Nuckolls. Officers say Nuckolls admitted that he made meth in public housing buildings for years. He was caught after other employees at Evansville’s public housing company found his meth lab. Nuckolls was on parole for a decades-old drug charge in Warrick County. He was arrested and taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail and is charged with manufacturing and dealing methamphetamine.
