A new Bank is coming to Bicknell. Owen County State Bank has purchased the former bank building at 3rd and Washington in Bicknell. The building was formerly owned by Sterns Enterprises. Owen County State Bank will be opening a branch at the location in the spring. Owen County State Bank is an Indiana corporation with their main branch in Spencer with existing branches in Bloomington, Bedford, Linton, Gosport, and Bloomfield. CEO Robert Taylor and his board have investigated the area and are enthusiastic about bringing a new branch to Bicknell.
