A local city is morning the loss of their former mayor. It was announced yesterday that former Bicknell Mayor Jon Flickinger had passed away. Flickinger was Bicknell’s 23rd mayor and served the city from 2008-2016. Officials say he is responsible for the installation of newer curbs, sidewalks, and lighting. He also helped in replacing older street signs throughout the city. Current Bicknell Mayor Thomas Estabrook has directed flags be flown at half staff throughout Bicknell until the end of the funeral on Saturday, February 27th.
