Rita K. (Kotter) Reinhart, 69, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Gentle Care nursing home. She was born November 23, 1951, in Vincennes, Indiana to Cyril and Catherine (Bonhomme) Kotter.
Rita was a member of St. Francis Xavier parish and a graduate of St. Rose Academy. She was a woman of great faith with strong convictions. She loved to travel and visited Europe, Alaska, and the Caribbean several times. She enjoyed meeting new people on these adventures.
Surviving is her husband Charles “Chuck” Reinhart; son Adam of Vincennes, Indiana; her brother William Kotter of Vincennes, Indiana; her sisters Jeanne Goettl of Kettering, Ohio; Cathy Wilson of Vincennes, Indiana; and Susan Cook of Bruceville, Indiana. Preceding her in death are her parents Cyril and Catherine Kotter; sisters Cheryl Kotter and Mary Ellen Beard.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 12:00-1:00 at Goodwin- Sievers Funeral home, 524 Broadway Street, Vincennes, Indiana. Services will begin at 1:00 with Rev. Tony Earnst officiating. Burial will be immediately following at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Goodwin- Sievers funeral home is honored to assist the family of Rita Reinhart.
