Princeton Police Officer pleads guilty in misconduct case

The Princeton police officer who allowed a suspect to toss a bag of heroin before going to jail will not spend any time behind bars. Brandt George pleaded guilty yesterday in exchange for a suspended 12-month sentence. George will simply have to perform 40 hours of community service. Police say George allowed a suspect to get rid of a bag of heroin on the way to jail back in 2019. George was facing felony misconduct charges in the case but pleaded to a lesser charge.
