James “Jim’” Riggle, 70, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital on Monday, February 15, 2021 with his family by his bedside. He was the son of Donald and Mae (Sharp) Riggle, born on April 15, 1950. Jim graduated from North Knox High School and has lived a full life in knox county. His associations include the Vincennes Congregation of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. He has made a career out of selling vehicles and mechanical supplies. He enjoyed playing golf and especially loved Fox Ridge and his friday morning golf games with his brother in law Paul Shidler and good friend Steve Earhart. He coached cub league baseball being especially proud of watching his sons play.
He married Susan (Bringwald) Riggle on January 28, 1983 and she survives. Other survivors include his children Brandon (Karen) Riggle of Bruceville, Indiana, Brad (Jill) Riggle of Sullivan, Indiana, Kevin RIggle of Vincennes, Indiana, and James (Krystle) Riggle of Robinson, Illinois; Step children Mary (Jed) Lange of Vincennes, Indiana, and Lisa (Aaron) Megal of Evansville, Indiana; sister Donna (Paul) Shidler of Vincennes, Indiana, and brother Marvin (Betty) Riggle of Mathias, West Virginia; grandchildren, Shayna RIggle , Tiffany Riggle, Brittney Riggle, Jordin RIggle, Angela RIggle, Emily Riggle, Tyler RIggle, Gavin RIggle, Reece RIggle, Peyton Riggle, Trenton RIggle, Evan RIggle, Trace RIggle, Olivia Riggle; step grandchildren Lance Lange, Luke Lange, Maggie Megal, Maegan Megal, Phoebe Megal, and Caleb Megal.
Preceding Jim in death are his parents Donald and Mae Riggle; sister Helen Kirk; and brother Walter RIggle.
Friends and family may visit Friday, February 19, 2021 from 12:00 – 2:00. Graveside services will be at 2:30 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
