A Boil Advisory has been issued for Monroe City. The Boil Advisory is in effect until further notice. It was issued after a contractor hit one of the supply lines. It is recommended that all drinking and cooking water be boiled for five minutes before use. Officials also ask that Monroe City residents conserve water and only use what they need.
