Sheriff’s Association offering scholarships for criminal justice majors

According to the Odon Journal, Daviess County Sheriff Gary Allison recently announced that the Sheriff’s Association will be once again offer scholarships to students pursuing a career in Criminal Justice. They will be handing out a total of forty-$750 scholarships to students across the state. Students must be an Indiana resident, attend an Indiana college full time, major in law enforcement, and be a current member of the association or a dependent or grandchild of a member. All applications must be submitted on or before April 1st. Applications can be found online at Indianasheriffs.org.
