The IHSAA Girls Basketball Pairings show is set for Sunday night from Indianapolis.  Find out who your favorite team plays in round one starting at 7pm Sunday night on WAMW.
The 2021 Indiana high school boys’ basketball State Finals have been pushed back one week to April 3rd. The move was made to allow the NCAA Tournament to hold games at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on the originally scheduled date of Saturday, March 27th. The entirety of “March Madness” is being held in Indiana this year with the Final Four held at Lucas Oil Stadium April 3rd. The 2020 IHSAA State Finals were canceled due to the pandemic. The rounds leading up the finals will remain the same, and the IHSAA has not yet determined how many fans will be able to attend tournament games.
For the first time since 1986, the NFL Combine will not be held in Indianapolis in 2021. The NFL announced its annual scouting event will be reimagined this year due to the coronavirus pandemic There will be no centralized event at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, and prospects will only workout in-person at on-campus pro days. In addition, the NFL hopefuls will be interviewed and undergo psychological tests virtually. The weeklong combine is normally held in February with a litany of on-field drills, plus interviews and medical tests.
 Purdue takes its three-game winning streak to Columbus to take on 15th ranked Ohio State Tuesday evening. The Boilermakers are 10-5 after beating Penn State at home Sunday. The game was originally scheduled for next week, but was moved up as part of a Big Ten schedule reshuffle because of games postponed due to COVID-19. Purdue beat OSU at home in December behind a Trevion Williams near triple-double, and the Buckeyes are favored by 4.5 points. The Boilers and Buckeyes tipoff at 6:30 p.m. Eastern.
