Vincennes Police are warning local businesses of counterfeit money. Recently, the Vincennes Police Department has taken several reports of local businesses receiving counterfeit bills. The bills being received are counterfeit $100 and $50 bills. The $100 bill appears to be a 1980 series bearing serial number “K19370656A” while the $50 bill is a 2000 series bearing serial number “MA00924819A”.
Police say please pay special attention to larger bills and the serial numbers before taking them. If you do have a counterfeit bill, please contact the Vincennes Police Department.
