The Indiana Department of Education is being investigated. The U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights says they’ve received complaints about the lack of quality education for children with disabilities during the pandemic. Specifically, there have been complaints that virtual learning isn’t meeting the needs of those students. The Office for Civil Rights says the investigation will determine if people with disabilities were discriminated against or denied equal access.
