The Daviess County Health Department released the latest COVID numbers on Thursday. 28 more cases of the virus have been diagnosed since Monday. That brings the total case count since the start of the pandemic to 2,528. No additional deaths have been reported so that number remains at 70. Over 10,200 residents have been tested to date. Daviess, in addition to Pike, Gibson, and Dubois Counties are still in red status on the ISDH map. Daviess County currently has a 7-day positivity rate of 16.3%.
