A traffic stop lead to an arrest in Vincennes early Thursday morning. Around 4am, Vincennes Police saw a Chevrolet Equinox traveling south on 6th St. The vehicle made a wide turn east onto Hart St and went completely left of center and then drove left of center again a few blocks later. One officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at 13/Hart and made contact with the driver. The driver was identified as Alain Phillippe. Phillippe displayed several signs of impairment and ultimately refused to partake in a chemical test. He was placed under arrested for Operating While Intoxicated.
