Man arrested in Gibson County after police chase

Driving more than 100 miles an hour and starting a chase is what police say landed a man from Newburgh in jail. State police say 19-year-old Cameron Shepherd was driving a car on a county road in Gibson County at 107 miles an hour Wednesday night. When police tried to stop him he refused. There was a chase and police say Shepherd stopped in a yard in front of a home. Police say the registration was expired and Shepherd didn’t have insurance. Shepherd was arrested and  taken to the Gibson County Jail.
