Ricky Leighty, 67 of Washington, went to his heavenly home on December 31, 2020.
Ricky was born in Washington, IN on September 19, 1953, son to the late Norman Leighty and Vera (Pride) Leighty.
Ricky was a member of The Montgomery Christian Church and enjoyed woodworking. He retired from IPL where he did maintenance after 36 years. When Ricky was younger he was an outdoorsman, who loved to fish and hunt.
He is survived by his loving sons; Brandon Leighty(Amy), Benjamin Leighty (Melody); grandchildren, Malayna Leighty, Dean Houston, Zoey Leighty, Benton Leighty, Makensie Leighty, Alexa Leighty, and Carter Stinchfield; siblings, Marilyn Dyer (Steve) and Janet Trambaugh.
He was preceded in death by; his devoted wife, Kay Leighty; parents; and 2 brothers, Danny and Mike Leighty.
