Faculty members at the University of Evansville want the chance to propose their own plan. Professors and other staff are opposed to the plan presented by school’s president that would cut several under-used majors and staff jobs. The university’s Faculty Senate says their plan could avoid those cuts, but they need a better look at the school’s finances and other information to build their plan. The university’s president would need to release that information to them.
